PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Are the workshops endorsed for PD points in line with PBA requirements?

Answer: According to the PBA, each individual is responsible for recording and documenting the professional development activities that they partake in. As such, there is no established process for the AACBT to attach points to PD events.

ACCREDITATION: Does AACBT offer accreditation as a CBT practitioner?

Australia seems to be a little behind the UK in terms of CBT accreditation and there is currently no CBT accreditation scheme in Australia. However, the AACBT is currently working towards implementing a scheme similar to that used by BABCP to accredit CBT practitioners. The AACBT will advise its members once this scheme is available.
